I turn it on when I sleep on a dim setting and have noticed that when I wake up, I have less "eye boogers" and can breathe better through my nose. I assume this is due to the dust, pollen, general particulate attracting characteristic of the salt lamp.

I'm pretty happy with my salt lamp. It was fairly expensive but I think it's good quality. It has a dimmer switch, it is medium sized and darkish pink (so glows a pinky orange). I have noticed the therapeutic benefits and also find having it on very relaxing. Recommended :)
